Charity fundraiser - 31 July 2010
Our 2010 summer charity tournament was held on behalf of St Luke's Hospice, Sheffield, and we raised a fabulous £750!!
To raise the money we took part in a mini five-a-side tournament which saw us all getting into the spirit of the event by donning fancy dress kits, with everyone from Wonder Woman to giant humbugs strutting their stuff! Friends and family turned out to cheer the teams on and a fundraising raffle was also held, with Tesco donating £100 worth of prizes alongside contributions from other local firms including Sumo Digital, Champs Sports Bar and Ice Sheffield.
The tournament was played at Sheffield Hallam University's Collegiate Crescent campus, with Sport Hallam providing the use of the pitch for free. The University's sport development manager, Frazer Johnson, also supported the event by giving up his Saturday morning to referee.
Below are some of the photos from a very fun and worthwhile day.
